NFL Football Betting Contests on the Rise Around Las Vegas
The rise of the big NFL football betting contests around Las Vegas are taking shape for their annual tradition in the sports betting arena. But do you know that you can also buy these Arsenal Chelsea tickets to watch a live football game? If you are interested, you can check out the Football Ticket Pad web page for details.
Signups for these lucrative contests are a sign for bettors to emerge from the doldrums of August betting to the natural adrenaline rush of fall football. The Westgate Las Vegas Superbook’s prestigious SuperContest is the most popular and with the largest pool, as last season’s winner won just short of $1 million. But there are some other big-money contests, most notably the Golden Nugget’s Friday Football Showdown and the William Hill US College Pick ‘em Contest.
All provide a roller-coaster ride of possibilities during the season, and not just for the contestants. Many non residents and out-of-town bettors can participate by joining a Las Vegas proxy service to process their entries for them.
The Golden Nugget contest requires seven picks per week from NFL or college games for the first eight weeks, then expands to nine picks for weeks 9 and 10. The top seven contestants over the first 10 weeks go into a playoff-style competition along with a wild card player. A different format from the Westgate but another contest with nice payouts.
The SuperContest has a registration fee of $1,500, with signup opening on July 1, and this year should generate the first ever $1 million first-place payout.
Registration for William Hill’s Pick ‘em contest also opened July 1, at $500. Friday Football Showdown registration is expected to be in late July, with a $2,000 fee.
Entry fees and registration has to be done in person at the venue hosting the contest. If you want to include the proxy service company, the cost is $300 for the SuperContest, $200 for Golden Nugget and $100 for William Hill contest is additional. But for a season’s worth of entertainment and a chance to win some serious cash, there’s no shortage of people lining up for Simo and Law’s service at www.footballcontest.com which had more than 700 clients in last year’s SuperContest.
This was about 40 percent of the field, along with plenty of customers for the Golden Nugget and William Hill contests. A very popular service that grows each year with total customer satisfaction.
“We like being kind of a one-stop shop for Vegas football contests,” Simo said, noting he offers discounts throughout the year, including a referral program, and has a SuperContest premium service ($350) with other incentives. “We’re always trying to stay ahead of the game, coming up with new ways to help clients out.”
Here are a few question and answer (FAQ) policies that contestants need to know before their participation in these football contests.
Do I need to sign up for the SuperContest in person?
Yes, in 2017 you will need to enter at the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas between July 1 and Sept. 9 at 11 a.m. (PT). The early-bird deadline is Sept. 4 at 4 p.m., which makes you eligible for the Mini Contest over the last 3 weeks. However, you can hire a proxy service to submit picks for you on a weekly basis.
Do I need to reside in the United States to enter the SuperContest?
No, you simply need to be 21 years of age with a valid photo ID. We have had clients in the past from Canada, Ireland, The Netherlands and Mexico in addition to the U.S. If you are a U.S. resident, you will need to include your Social Security number on the entry form for tax purposes if you win money.
The contests are a weekly accumulation of facts and figures that are needed for an informed educated decision making process each week to succeed. A marathon contest for those willing to put in the effort with a supporting tool to sharpen your skills with cutting edge focus and mathematical export data to enhance your selections. The obvious answer is a subscription service to www.sportsanalyticssimulator.com for real time analysis every month of the season. Those who do their homework with the right teacher will survive and prosper. A little luck along the way is necessary.
